Hobby's Annuity.

AN ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act for granting unto Elizabeth Hobby, Widow, one Annuity or yearly Rent Charge of Four hundred and Fifty Pounds per Annum for her Life, in Satisfaction of Five hundred Pounds a Year in Lands, which she was to have for her Jointure, was read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Debtoro Relief.

A Bill for Relief of poor Prisoners, was read a Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to Mr. Arnold, Mr. Gray, Mr. Christy, Sir Rob. Napier, Mr. Price, Mr. Buckenham, Serjeant Wogan, Sir Tho. Darcye, Mr. Hawtry, Sir Wm. Cooper, Mr. Fenwick, Mr. Freke, Sir Christoph. Musgrave, Lord Digby, Sir Car. Price, Sir Cha. Bloys, Colonel Birch, Mr. Bedingfield, Sir Tho. Haslerigg, Mr. Bromley, Sir Fra. Guybon, Sir Orl. Paper Manufacture.

Ordered, That Sir Orlando Gee, a Member of this House, be heard by his Counsel, as to his interest, at the Bar of this House, upon Friday Morning next, at Nine of the Clock, against the Bill for the encouraging and better establishing the Manufacture of White Paper in this Kingdom, before the Bill be read the Third time.

Woollen Manufacture.

A Motion being made, and the Question being put, That the Bill for the better Improvement of the Woollen Manufacture, be referred to a select Committee;

The House divided.

The Yeas go forth.

So it passed in the Negative.

Yorke Election.

Ordered, That the Report upon the Double Return and Election for the City of Yorke be made upon Saturday Morning next.

Queen's Regency.

Then the ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act for the Exercise of the Government by her Majesty, during his Majesty's Absence, was read the Third time.

An Amendment was proposed to be made in Line 32, between the Words "be" and "out," to insert the Word "absent:"

And the same was, upon the Question put thereupon, agreed unto by the House.

An ingrossed Proviso was offered, as a Rider, to be added to the Bill, for vesting the sole Administration of the Regal Power and Government in his Majesty only, as often as his Majesty shall return into this Kingdom of England:

And the same was thrice read; and, upon the Question put thereupon, agreed unto by the House.

Another ingrossed Clause was offered, as a Rider, to be made Part of the Bill, For the preventing Disputes, Whose Acts (the King's or the Queen's) ought to be obeyed; that all and every Act or Acts, Thing or Things, hereafter to be made by the King's Majesty, shall be absolutely obeyed.

Which Clause was read the First time.

And the Question being put, That the same be read a Second time.

It passed in the Negative.

Ordered, That the Bill with the Amendments and Clause agreed upon, do pass.

Resolved, That the Lord Falkland do carry up the Bill to the Lords; and acquaint them, That this House hath agreed to the same, and with the said Amendments; and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

London Corporation.

Then the House resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed upon the Bill for reversing the Judgment upon the Quo Warranto against the City of London, and for restoring the City to its ancient Privileges.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Gray took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Gray reports from the Committee of the whole House, That they had agreed to the said Bill, with several Amendments; which they had directed him to report to the House: And he read the same in his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards delivered them in at the Clerk's Table: Where they were once read throughout; and, afterwards, a Second time, one by one; and, upon the Question severally put thereupon, agreed unto by the House.

A Clause was offered to be made Part of the Bill, for a new Election of Mayor and other Officers: Which was twice read; and agreed unto by the House to be made Part of the Bill.

Ordered, That the Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed.

Thetford Writ.

Mr. Speaker acquaints the House, That Wm. Harbord, Esquire, had informed him, That, according to the Order of Yesterday, he elected to serve as Burgess for the Borough of Lanceston in the County of Cornwall; and that he desired a new Writ may issue for electing another Burgess in his room, for the Borough of Thetford in the Counties of Norfolke and Suffolke.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a new Writ for the Electing of a Burgess to serve in this present Parliament for the Borough of Thetford in the Counties of Norfolke and Suffolke, in the room of Wm. Harbord, Esquire, who was elected a Burgess both for the said Borough, and for the Borough of Lanceston in the County of Cornwall; and hath made his Election to serve for the said Borough of Lanceston.

London Markets.

Ordered, That all the Members that serve for the Counties of Bucks, Essex, Hartford, Kent, Middlesex, and Surrey, be added to the Committee to whom the Petition of several Persons of divers Callings, who keep the Markets of the City of London, is referred.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, at Eight of the Clock.
