Prayers.

Privilege- a person discharged custody.

GEORGE Feild, in the Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, for a Breach of Privilege committed against Sir Sam. Grimston, a Member of this House, being, according to the Order of Yesterday, brought to the Bar; and making his humble Submission to the House upon his Knees;

Ordered, That he be discharged out of Custody, paying his Fees.

Vilet's Estate.

A Bill to vest divers Lands of George Vilet, Esquire, deceased, in Trustees, to be sold, to raise Portions for his Daughters, was read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to Sir Wm. Cooke, Mr. Bromley, Mr. Bedding feild, Mr. Hutchinson, Sir Fra. Guybons, Mr. Backwell, Mr. Hedger, Mr. Brewer, Mr. Cooke, Mr. Slater, Mr. Bowyer, Mr. Christy, Mr. Arnold, Mr. Thornhaugh, Sir Cha. Bloys, Mr. Carew, Sir Rob. Davers, Mr. Willmott, Mr. Fenwick, Mr. Burdet, Mr. Brockman, Mr. Blowfeild, Sir Tho. Miller, Mr. Biddolph, Mr. Bockland, Mr. Cary, Sir Ralph Dutton, Mr. Foley, Sir Tho. Darcy, and all the Members that serve for the County of Norfolke, and all the Gentlemen of the Long Robe: And they are to meet this Afternoon at Three of the Clock in the Speaker's Chamber.

Knowles' Petition.

Ordered, That Mr. Vincent, Mr. Bowyer, Mr. Westerne, Mr. Hobby, be added to the Committee to whom the Examination of the Petition of Sarah Knowles, is referred.

Phelip's Estate.

Mr. Christy reports from the Committee, to whom the ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act for the enabling the Sale of the Manor of Kempton and Kempton Park, and other Lands, late of Francis Phelips, Esquire, deceased, was committed, That they had agreed to the Bill, without any Amendments.

The Bill was read the Third time.

Resolved, That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be agreed to.

Ordered, That Mr. Christy do carry the Bill to the Lords, and acquaint them, That this House hath agreed to the same, without any Amendments.

Sandwich Election.

Ordered, That the Report from the Committee of Privileges and Elections, touching the Election for the Port of Sandwich, be made upon Friday Morning next, at Ten a Clock.

Mildmay's Estate.

A Bill to enable Hen. Mildmay, Esquire, to sell some Copyhold Lands, for payment of Debts, was presented to the House; and received.

Privilege-Petition from a person in custody.

A Petition of Thomas Price, Esquire, in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms, upon a Complaint of a Breach of Privilege committed against Edward Vaughan, Esquire, a Member of this House, for himself, and on the Behalf of Rich. Green, Henry Mostyn, Wm. Wynne, and Edward Price, was presented to the House.

But Mr. Vaughan being not present in the House;

Ordered, That the said Petition be read when he is present.

Furnishing Seamen.

A Bill for the more speedy and effectual furnishing his Majesty's Navy, in Time of War, with Seamen, was presented to the House by Sir Rob. Howard, according to the Order of the House; and received.

The said Bill was read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Mr. Harris have Leave to go into the Country for his Health.

Commissioners of Accompts.

Ordered, That the Bill for taking the Publick Accompts, be read To-morrow Morning at Ten a Clock.

Supply Bill; Land Tax.

Then the Order of Yesterday, for the House to resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the further Consideration of the Bill for raising One hundred Thirty-seven thousand Six hundred Forty-one Pounds Eighteen Shillings and Two-pence per mensem, for Twelve Months, was read.

Ordered, That the said Committee of the whole House do, in the Clause to the said Bill for the appropriating Part of the said Assessment for the Navy, include a Part to be appropriated for the Use of the Naval Part of the Ordnance.

Then the House resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the further Consideration of the said Bill.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Solicitor General took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Solicitor General reports from the said Committee, That they had gone through the Bill; and made several Amendments; and had directed him to move the House, to appoint a Time for him to make the Report thereof.

Ordered, That Mr. Solicitor General do make the Report of the said Bill, with the Amendments, To-morrow Morning at Ten a Clock.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees be revived.
