Prayers.

Informations against Prisoners in the Tower.

RESOLVED, That a Committee be appointed to inspect the Journals of the last Session of Parliament, in relation to the Informations given in against the Prisoners in the Tower; and to make their Report Tomorrow Morning.

Resolved, That the same Committee do examine, What Precedents there are of Commitments by Authority of this House; and make Report To-morrow Morning.

And it is referred unto Sir Thomas Clarges, Mr. Russell, Mr. Paul Foley, Mr. Grey, Major Wildman, Sir Tho. Lee, Mr. Smith, Sir Hen. Capell, Mr. Coningsby, Lord Falkland, Mr. Garway, Mr. Finch, Sir Edw. Seymor, Mr. Newport, Sir Jos. Tredenham, Mr. Christy, Mr. Gwyn, Mr. Hamden, Mr. Solicitor General, Mr. Godolphin, Sir Rob. Howard, Sir John Trevor, Mr. Phil. Foley, Sir Rich. Temple, Mr. Stockdale, Mr. Attorney General, Sir Hen. Hobart, Sir Tho. Barnadiston, Mr. England, Lord Pawlet, Sir John Brownlow; or any Three of them: And it is to be an Instruction to the said Committee, That they examine into the Informations given against any other Persons in Custody elsewhere than in the Tower: And they are to meet this Afternoon at Three of the Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber.

The King's Speech considered.

Then the House, according to the Order of Yesterday, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to take into Consideration his Majesty's Speech.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Hamden took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Hamden reports from the Committee of the whole House, That they, having taken into Consideration his Majesty's Speech, had directed him to move the House, That the House will resolve to stand by and assist his Majesty in reducing Ireland, and joining with his Allies Abroad, in a vigorous Prosecution of the War against France.

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That this House will stand by and assist his Majesty in reducing Ireland, and joining, with his Allies abroad, in a vigorous Prosecution of the War against France.

Supply.

A Motion being made for a Supply to be given to his Majesty;

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That the House do, To-morrow-sevennight, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to take into Consideration that Motion.

State of the War;

Ordered, That Sir Henry Capell, one of the Commissioners of the Treasury, be desired to bring in an Account of the Charge of the War for the last Year.

Address thereon.

Resolved, That an humble Address be presented to his Majesty by such Members as are of his Majesty's most honourable Privy Council; That he will please to direct, That a State of the War, for the ensuing Year, be prepared to be brought into this House.

Bills depending last Session.

Resolved, That a Committee be appointed to inspect the Bills which were depending the last Session; and make their Report to the House.

And it is referred to Mr. Garway, Lord Falkland, Mr. Solicitor General, Mr. Gwyn, Sir John Knight, Mr. Paul Foley, Sir Rob. Howard, Mr. Parker, Mr. Done, Mr. Howard, Mr. Brereton, Sir Fra. Russell, Mr. Fuller, Mr. Christy, Sir John Barker, Colonel Austen, Sir Wm. Williams, Mr. England, Sir Hen. Capell, Mr. White; or any Three of them: And they are to meet this Afternoon at Three of the Clock in the Speaker's Chamber.

Rights of the Subject.

Resolved, That the same Committee do prepare, and bring in a Bill for establishing the Rights of the Subject.

Adjournment.

Resolved, That the House do now adjourn till Tomorrow Morning, Nine of the Clock.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Nine a Clock accordingly.
