Resolved, Every Knight of a Shire to pay 10s. and every Burgess, 5 s. according to the Note delivered in by the Committee for London, &c. and whosoever is absent, to pay double [d].

Protestation.

A Protestation, agreed upon by the grand Committee, reported to the House by Mr. Solicitor; to be entered into the Clerk's Book ; and to be presented to his Majesty by all the Privy Council, and Sir J. Fullerton, and Sir Ro. Carre, from the House.

This, upon Question, allowed ; and to be entered, ut supra ; without One negative Voice.

Upon a Second Question, the Privy Council of the House, accompanied with Sir J. Fullerton, and Sir Ro. Carre, shall, with all convenient Speed, present this to his Majesty, in Writing.

House attend the Lords.

Mr. Maxwell, the Gentleman Usher of the Upper House, came to call the House, and Speaker, to come up to the Lords, to hear a Commission from his Majesty read to both Houses.

Which was accordingly done.
