Sanctuaries.

1. 2. The Bill to avoid Sanctuaries for Debt, &c. - Ingrossetur.

Upon Allegations made for the Sanctuary of Westminster, Day is given to the Dean there, on Friday next, at Nine of the Clock, with Counsel learned, to shew for that Sanctuary.

A Person admitted to be heard.

Christopher Hayes, a Merchant of London, made Suit to come into the House, to put them in Remembrance; and being heard, Thanks was given him for this Motion.

Members to take Oath.

Arguments upon taking the Oath, who shall take it, and the Pain. - Committed to Mr. Secretary, &c. to certify. It was certified, that the new Burgesses should swear; and for other Affairs, this Matter to cease.
