Ordered, That if the Committee for Examination of the Businesses concerning Deputy Lieutenants, shall find Cause, they may make a Sub-committee, to examine any particular Complaints.
King's Answer concerning Religion.
Ordered, That the Sub-committee for Religion, shall have Power to compare his Majesty's Answer to the Petition at Oxford, with his Answer now, and where his Answer now is short of that; that so his Majesty may be petitioned to enlarge his now Answer accordingly.
Recusants.
And the said Sub-committee is likewise to consider of the best Course by Bill, or otherwise, to settle a Course for establishing the Laws against Recusants, and for Prevention of the Growth of Popery.

Martial Law.
The grand Committee for Billetting of Soldiers, to Martial Law. have Power to debate the Matter concerning the Commissions for martial Law; and the Clerk of the Crown to bring the Commission for martial Law, and the Instructions for the same, unto the Committee.
