Cut-purses.

L. 1. The Bill to take away Clergy from Cut-purses and Pick-purses, &c.

Fines, &c.

L. 1. The Bill for Assurance of Fines and Recoveries to be good from the Beginning of the Reign of Queen Elizabeth, although the Original be imbezzeled.

Sanctuaries.

Mr. Dean of Westminster, making his Oration for the Sanctuary, alleged divers Grants by King Lucius, and other Christian Kings; and Mr. Plouden, of his Councel, alleged the Grant for Sanctuary there, by King Edward, Five hundred Years past, (viz.) dated 1066, with great Reasons in Law, and Chronicles. Mr. Forde, a Civilian, also alleged divers Stories and Laws for the same. The Bill committed to the Master of the Rolls, &c. to peruse the Grants, and to certify the Force of the Law now for Sanctuaries.
