Is “a younger brother of a gent. family, bred to no trade, nor has any dependence but his wife's fortune.” He says he slipped his left shoulder, and by the unskilfulness of the surgeon his arm bone was 36 days out of the cup in the shoulder, but two other surgeons reduced it to its place with exquisite pain and torture. Prays that he may be ordered 60l. of H.M. bounty.
