Fleet. It will conduce to the expedition of this
service if the Vice-Admirals concerned be paid the
necessary moneys by the nearest Customs collectors,
"and it being offered, upon the uncertainty of
what the full charge of so many men may amount
unto, that there should at first be advanced by
way of imprest at the rate of 10s. per man," it is
hereby ordered that the following sums be paid to
the respective Vice-Admirals as follows by the
collectors of the ports nearest to them : viz. :
