have been recovered to the Crown by those lessees
[sic ? for by petitioners] and others are still concealed
from the Crown, viz. all the manor of Rosemarket
late in the tenure of Richard Walter and now of
Walter Middleton et al., of the value of 4l. 13s. 7d.
per an.; the watermill called Rosemarket mill, in
the tenure of said Middleton, of the value of 40s.
per an.; all which parcels have been recovered to
the late King and the rents accordingly answered
to the Crown and the said mill rebuilt by John
Lewis, gent., who held same by Exchequer lease
dated 1666, July 25, for 31 years; several parcels
of land in the several parishes of Fishguard, Newport and Neevorne [Nevern] in the said county
[of Pembroke] now or late in the tenure of Thomas
Jones, gent., of the value of 4s. per an.: the
messuage and lands and parcel of concealed lands
in or near the town fields of R[h]ydygolie, in the
parish of Brawdy, co. Pembroke, and called Fyr
Prioll alias Prior, formerly parcel of the posessions
of the College of St. Davids, co. Pembroke, and late
in the tenure of Thomas Price, esq., of the value
of 6s. 8d. per an.; a piece of meadow ground containing an acre in the parish of Fishguard, commonly called Gwer Gleddy Brenin, parcel of St.
Dogmell's Abbey, of the value of 2s. per an.; a
decayed stone weir called Gored Gunda, in the
parish of Llanwnda, of the yearly value of 1s. all
which last mentioned parcels were granted to said
John Lewis by said lease to be recovered within
five years, but were not so recovered and are still
concealed from the Crown; all the tenement called
Tythen Mak Gwyn, containing 14 acres; land in
Trevilioe [Trefeilir], containing 10½ acres; a parcel
called Drill rung gorredy Bohlog aryskybor wen, containing three acres; a parcel on the north abutting
on Ellenverch Williams house, containing 1½ acres;
a parcel of land within a tenement of one Llidgoz,
containing 9½ acres; a parcel abutting on the

that petitioner as trustee for the said lessees or their
assigns is content to be at the charge of recovering
said unrecovered parcels to the Crown within five
years and to repair said decayed weir and to answer
the usual rents of the other premises to the King;
therefore prays a lease of the premises at the usual
rents in trust for the tenants in possession, but
prays that all the parcels may be comprised in
one lease as they are of small value and not worth
the cost of separate leases. |

Same by same to same of the petition of John Scott,
merchant and owner of the ship Abercorne, shewing
that said ship sailed from Londonderry to Port
Royal in Carolina, arrived in May, 1685, and there
laded timber for Barbados, but petitioners and all
the passengers falling sick and 29 dying thereof, they
put to sea for safety and the men falling weaker they
bore up to Virginia to save their lives, and in Aug., 1685,
arrived at Protoxon [Patuxent] River, in Maryland,
where the master died and Mr. Scott used all his
endeavours to get the seamen to sail, he fearing seizure
by reason of some Irish manufactory aboard, but he
could not induce them and so they were necessitated
to stay; and were advised by some to unlade their
goods privately without intention of sale, which was
a design, for as soon as they took said advice Col.
Dornell and Major Shewell seized the ship and
goods, made themselves judges and without calling
in a jury condemned the ship and goods, nor would
they sell same to petitioner at their own appraisal:
therefore prays satisfaction for such loss and cruel
usage. |

Treasurer Rochester to the Earl of Bath. Mr. Courtney
has this morning acquainted me with the further
errors in the privy seals for the Convocation of
tinners, to wit, that it should not be directed to
choose 24 out of every Stannary Court, but that
number out of the whole Stannaries of Cornwall.
He does not think it necessary that the summons

Convocations meet according to the same and that
there be a supplemental privy seal to justify your

usages. Please therefore proceed on the summons
you have issued, and such a supplemental privy
