in London port out of the Victory, now riding in the
Hope, William Trelawney, master, and to permit
said ship to depart with the rest of her lading for
Lisbon : he having laded at Venice for the coasts
of Spain and Lisbon, and having delivered at several
parts of Spain, but being denied pratique at Lisbon
and Cadiz (upon suspicion of the plague being
at Carthagena, where he touched) was compelled
to return to England after taking in said cochineal
and redwool at Cadiz for England : all by reason
that if he break bulk here the whole of his lading
will be liable to duty : and said master has been
arrested by the owners of said cochineal and
redwool in an action for 6,000l., who will proceed
against said ship in the Admiralty in two days
unless they have order for the landing of said goods,
they having b en already great sufferers by loss
of time and market : the extremity of such
circumstances being such that the present case
is not likely to be drawn into precedent.

of Simon Taylor, of Lynn Regis, merchant, who
having exported corn out of said port, has not, for
want of money, paid the duty, and prays to have
