Nov. 1. The Excise Commissioners have Mr. Bertie's letter this 1st of Nov. to have their order of the 18th of Oct. last registered on the [four last] quarters of the [Eighteen months'] Act (as by the scheme of disposition thereof, supra, p. 847, under date July 30) [same being so registered in course] after the [orders for the] Navy and the Prince of Orange, vide the Letter Book, p. 54. [This Letter Book is lost.]
The account of the King's loss by payment of interest which the abovesaid Act and other [Parliamentary] aids have not provided for is to be computed.

Nov. 10 (or ? 11) Treasurer Danby directs that Mr. Chace's tally for 300l. [charged] on the H[earthmoney] duty payable in March next be advanced [by the Hearthmoney Contractors], the King allowing interest [thereon].
