My Lords upon reading the memorial of the Commissioners of the Equivalent in Scotland and the report thereupon made by the Commissioners appointed by Parliament to state the Equivalent due &c. are pleased to order the Creditors of the Public in Scotland six months' interest on their debt of 230,308l. 9s. 105/6d., amounting to 7,911l. 4s. 4d.
My Lords upon reading a Report from the Commissioners for making out Lottery Orders concerning the rates and prices demanded by the King's Printers are pleased to direct the said Commissioners to reconsider the quantities delivered to the several Offices for the time past and the quantities and prices for the future. My Lords on hearing Mr. Edwyn and reading the several reports, warrants and papers now before them relating to his Liberate and the several Lottery Offices which were discharged therefrom [i.e. which were taken off the list of Offices to be supplied with stationery by the said Edwyn as Usher of the Receipt] do order that the said warrant discharging the said Offices be superseded and that the Auditors do rate the Liberates as usual, not only for those Lottery Offices heretofore discharged, but also for all other the Offices now served by the Usher of the Receipt: and upon their [the Liberates] being signed and allowed by the Chancellor [of the Exchequer] in manner accustomed [the Auditor of the Receipt is hereby] to draw orders for paying of the amount of the said Liberates termly or quarterly as they used to be. And the Auditor [of the Receipt] is to cause an account to be stated of the particular species and the value delivered to every Office within the respective times of each Liberate so unpaid: [so] that my Lords may consider how to restrain the deliveries for the future to such quantities as are absolutely necessary.

My Lords upon reading Mr. Auditor Harley's state of Mr. William Chetwynd's account of remittances to Spain and other services are pleased to order as follows, viz. that the Auditor do state this account anew as matters now appear by accounts since passed and that he prepare the draft of a privy seal for passing such account new stated: and he [the Auditor] is to see whether the sum of 2,799l. 11s. 9d. said to be gained [by the exchange] by paying 555,991 livres 14 sous 9 den Genoa money be included in the 7,751l. 12s. 7¾d. mentioned in this state:
and to take especial care that all persons who ought to be charged with any sums of money to which this account hath reference be duly charged upon them:
and write to Lord Carnarvon that my Lords finding by the accounts of Mr. William Chetwynd that a great quantity of corn and other things were delivered to the use of the Forces which served in Spain, do desire that he will take care to charge the value thereof to the clearings of the respective Regiments, Troops and Companies that received the same.
Write to the three Commissaries [Blyke, Erle and Vincent, late employed in Spain] to render accounts of the several species of provisions and stores which came to their hands or power.
[Write] to Mr. Mead to send an account of all the money coined at Barcelona and the gain thereupon.
My Lords order that all drafts of privy seals and other warrants which are not things of course be brought to the Secretaries [of the Treasury] or one of them to be perused and examined before they are presented to the King for his signature or to the Treasury Lords for their's.
Direct the Earl of Lincoln to raise the sum of 85,706l. 18s. 10½d. upon tallies and orders remaining in his hands on credit of the Land Tax and Malt Duties anno 1716: the orders to carry interest at the rate of 4l. per cent. per an. from the day they shall be disposed of.
