The Earl was unaware of the lease in trust for the Queen Dowager as a security for 2000l. His coming to the knowledge thereof prevented his further proceedings therein. The present petitioners have paid the 2000l. to Sir Richard Bellings “& have thereupon got a surrender made to her present Majesty of the remainder of the” 99 years' lease.
