The Commissioners for Transportation are accomptable for payments made under their authority, not only for the hire and admeasurement of ships and the disposal and expenditure of provisions but also for salaries and other disbursements amounting within the time of the preceding Accompt to 111,609l. 18s. 1d. and within the time of this Accompt to 60,395l. 19s. 11d.
