Royal warrant dated St. James's to the Attorney or Solicitor General for a privy seal for a grant to William Borret of the Crown title in 5000 livres, 250 livres and the fourth part of the clear personal estate of James Pigou which belonged to James Baron all in trust to wit as to two thirds thereof to Stephen Bouxin and as to one third thereof to Frances Pigou and her children. Same by same to Henry St. John to prepare a royal warrant for allowance of 2584l. out of respites to Brigadier Handaside's and Col. Livesay's Regiments towards the charge of levy money and in view of the almost impossibility of recruiting the said Regiments in Jamaica and the great numbers that inevitably became defective by the constant mortality there, which makes the charge of recruiting more heavy upon them than upon any other of her Majesty's Forces.

William Lowndes to Henry St. John to prepare royal warrants to dispense with the Instructions [to the Comptrollers of Army Accounts] relating to the clothiers so far as relates to the time past only: in view of the extreme difficulties several clothiers are in for want of money owing to their offreckonings lying a long time in the hands of Mr. Howe and Mr. Brydges by reason of their not complying with such Instructions: their non compliance with same being due to ignorance and they having by instrument under their hands dated the 14th inst. obliged themselves duly to observe such rules and instructions for the future. Warrant by Treasurer Godolphin to the Customs Commissioners for a noli prosequi to the information against Thomas Brooks et al. merchants for importing Canary wines from the Canaries in the ship St. Lawrence, the prosecutor Roger Gauthorn being since satisfied that one of the sailors which he thought to be a Scotsman is an Irishman and Gauthorn is therefore willing to consent to a noli prosequi.
