1673. October 1. Royal letters patent by Charles II to the Treasury, the Exchequer Court and the Excise Commissioners granting to Col. Francis Wyndham and his heirs male a perpetuity of 600l. per an. in consideration of good and faithful services unto us done and performed and more especially his having been particularly instrumental in preserving our royal person after the battle of Worcester.
