from the adjacent Colonies for securing the frontiers of that Province

of the said Chidley Brook for the several taxes raised by public
rates in the Province of New York within same time and of the
Additional Duty upon goods imported there raised by divers Acts
of Assembly for payment of the debts contracted by the Government

considered your report on Lieut.-Col. Andrew Wheeler's petition
concerning his interest in the ferry or passage boat over the Thames
from Datchet to Windsor Palace ut supra p. 359. As the way to the
said ferry is to be turned and the petitioner's damage cannot
presently be ascertained it may be for the King's service to buy for
1200l. the inheritance thereof together with the messuage, croft and
three acres thereto belonging. You are to make the agreement
