Memorial of the 3rd inst. from the Excise Commissioners, read and entered, concerning their arrangement with John Peacock and William Oakes for the farm of the Excise of co. Berks, and of the Hundred of Amesbury, co. Wilts, adjoining the forest of New Windsor for 2¾ years from Sept. 29 next, at the rent of 2,800l. per an., to be paid quarterly, they advancing one quarter's rent beforehand. Ordered: allowed of. The like of same date for the like farm of the Excise of Cumberland and Westmorland by William Christian, of Carlisle, Richard Brathwait and George Williamson, for the like term for 2,000l. per an. as above, with the advance of one quarter's rent beforehand. [Ibid.]
The like of July 21, for the like farm of the Excise of co. Lancaster by Peires Leigh, of Brough, in said co., and William Banks, of Winstanley, in said co., for 4,400l. per an. for the like period and with the like prepayment. [Ibid. p. 12.]

Same from same of same date, read and entered, concerning their agreement with Thomas Weedon, of Wigginton, co. Herts, for the farm of the Excise of co.
