Oct. 19. Petition from William Guy concerning debentures on tobacco re-shipped by him a day later than the year and a day allowed by law. With Treasurer Southampton's minute. "However the petitioner layes downe his case I beleive he would not have omitted his time for a rayny day onely: but if the farmers of His Majesties Customes finde this the trueth of the case Mr. Attorney must be askt what power is left in me to make the allowance."
