Oct. 11. Man to [Cecil].
Yesterday the Queen of Spain was brought to bed of a girl. The King has required him to write to the Queen as earnestly as he could in favour of Sir Francis Englefield.— Madrid, 11 Oct. 1567.

The King of Spain desires that she will grant Sir Francis Englefield to enjoy the revenue of his lands wheresoever he may be come, and will take the benefit as done to himself.— Madrid, 11 Oct. 1567.

The Princess was christened on the 19th; her name is Catalina. Has written to him by this post of the King's passing through England (sic), who gave him very short warning thereof.—Madrid, 21 Oct. 1567.
