Miscellaneous, 1560

[1560?] 1763. Thomas Winterhope to Throckmorton.
Is a poor Scotchman, a bursar of Grisy, who has spent all his substance in vindicating at law the interests of the Scotch college at Paris. Is anxious to go to their patron in Scotland to procure from him a proxy necessary for the prosecution of the suit, which has now continued for three years. Having lately had a fear of being in great want, solicits Throckmorton's assistance.
Orig. Endd.: A poore man's letter to Mr. R. Throckmorton. Fr. Pp. 2.
