Dec. 3. 6. Petition of Sir John Thornhaugh, of Fenton, Notts, to Salisbury. For an allowance of timber for rebuilding and repair of the manorhouse and other houses at Osward by Soke, which he holds from the King, and of boats to cross the ferry. With reference to Baron Altham, and his return.
Dec. ? 7. Warrant to deliver to Sir John Thornhaugh, tenant of the Manor of Osward by Soke, co. Nottingham, 150 tons of timber from Sherwood Forest, for repair of the houses and the ferry boats over the Trent at the above place.

23. Edmund Doubleday to Salisbury. Result of an experiment for melting 20 tons of silver ore from Scotland. The amount of silver is too small to be worth the melting. [See Dec. 14.]
