Jan. 8.		 1. "Notes delivered me [Sec. Lord Dorchester] by M. Joachimi out of [Samuel] Purchas his book [Pilgrims]." These consist of 24 short extracts reflecting upon the Dutch nation, with the pages from whence taken; Hollanders put halters about the neck of the English; insolency of this arrogant nation; Dutch cruelty and lying devices; abominable wrongs of the Dutch; and such like extracts.
