Send a true declaration of the state of the English colony in Virginia, together with a project by help of a lottery, to bring that work to the success desired. Commend that worthy and Christian enterprise to their care, and require that they will employ their best endeavours to persuade persons of ability to adventure in the lottery. Inclose from the Treasurer and Council of Virginia, books requisite for registering the sums adventured, which it is requested may be returned with the money collected. [The Inclosures are wanting.
