Mandate to make provision to Patrick Odubahy (fn. 9) abbot of the Augustinian monastery of St. John the Evangelist, Tuam, in priest's orders, a professed canon of the said order, who has laudably governed the said monastery and been duly blessed, (fn. 10) of the Premonstratensian monastery of St. John Baptist de Cella parva, Annadown, immediately subject to the Roman church, (fn. 11) value not exceeding 20 marks sterling, void by the death without the Roman court of Maurice Macchegayn; summoning and removing John Oruellay, a canon thereof, who without any canonical title has unduly detained possession for more than a year but less than two years. In the event of provision being made to Patrick he is, before receiving possession of the administration of St. John's, to take to the above archdeacon the usual oath of fealty, according to the form enclosed. Reservation to the pope's gift, for collation to him, who is M.A., of a canonry of Glasgow and the prebend [of] Glasgow Primo, value not exceeding 80l. sterling, about to become void by the provision, made by the pope [above, f. 1], and the consecration, which is to take place, of Alexander de Lawadre, elect of Dunkeld; notwithstanding that he holds the deanery of Dunkeld, a major elective dignity with cure, canonries of Dunblane and Aberdeen, with the prebends of Logy and Invernothei (rectius Invernochti), and the parish church of Wemys in the diocese of Dunkeld which, as also the said prebend of Invernothei, is of the patronage of laymen, the value of all not exceeding 100l. sterling, and that the present pope lately dispensed him [Cal.
