Rehabilitation, at his recent petition containing that on the voidance, by the death of Robert de Lany, of the provostship of the chapel royal of St. Mary at St. Andrews, a principal dignity with cure, and, by the resignation to bishop Henry of William de Foresta, of the canonry and prebend of Turray in Aberdeen, the late James, king of Scots (to the king of Scots for the time being belonging by special papal privilege the collation and provision of the said provostship and the presentation to the said canonry and prebend) made collation and provision to him of the said provostship and presented him for the said canonry and prebend to the said bishop, who instituted him, and that, without having obtained any canonical dispensation, he still detains possession.
