Mandate to collate and assign to Dermit Oscanlayn, clerk, of the diocese of Ardfert (who was lately dispensed by papal authority, as the son of an unmarried man and an unmarried woman related in the third and third degrees of kindred, to be promoted etc. as above, f. 44), a canonry of Ardfert and the prebend of Mohychir therein, value not exceeding 2 marks, void by the death of David Yconchuyr. To the abbots of Holy Trinity, Ballintober (de Fonte Sancti Patricii), St. Michael's, Mayo, and St. Mary's, Cong, in the diocese of Tuam. Mandate to collate and assign to David de Burgo, perpetual vicar of Achauur in the diocese of Tuam (who was lately dispensed by papal authority, as the son of a married nobleman and an unmarried woman (i) to be promoted etc. as above, f. 44, (ii) having in virtue thereof obtained the said vicarage, to receive and hold for life one other benefice, even incompatible with the said first benefice, in virtue of which latter dispensation he obtained the rectory of Clanchoan in the said diocese), the canonry and prebend of Faudomayn in Tuam, value not exceeding 5 marks, void because Thomas de Burgo alias Iubayn obtained another canonry and prebend in the same church by authority of the ordinary, the said Thomas, who has unduly detained the above canonry and prebend for several years, being summoned and removed; notwithstanding that David holds the said vicarage and rectory, value together not exceeding 12 marks. Mandate to collate and assign to Robert de Macgillequhaillum, rector of Lundeffe in the diocese of Dunkeld, the canonry and prebend of Monythi in Dunkeld, value not exceeding 20l. sterling, void by the resignation to bishop Robert of Thomas de Cardony, summoning and removing John de Faukland, priest, of the diocese of St. Andrews, who has unduly detained for more than four months without canonical title possession of the same, provision whereof was otherwise made by papal authority to the said Robert; whether they be void as stated, or by the resignation of Richard de Creffe, or in any other way, and notwithstanding that Robert holds the said church, value not exceeding 20 marks sterling.
