To Adam Moleyns, rector of Wynterboren in the diocese of Salisbury, B.C.L. Reservation to the pope's gift, for collation to him, of the canonries and prebends of Chichester and Crediton (Credotonia) in the diocese of Exeter, the value of each (fn. 3) not exceeding 20l. sterling, which are respectively about to become void by the promotion, made by the pope, of Marmaduke, elect of Carlisle and Simon, elect of Chichester, to their said sees, and by their consecration, which is to take place; notwithstanding that he holds the said rectory and the chapel without cure of Kyngston Russell in the same diocese, the value of both not exceeding 40 marks sterling. Mandate to collate and assign to John Elyot, rector of Clonmar in the diocese of Armagh, I.U.B., the canonry and prebend of Tachmohan in Dublin, value not exceeding 12 marks, void by the resignation of the late Richard Montayn to Richard, archbishop (fn. 4) of Dublin; whether they be void in the way stated, or by the death of the said Richard Montayn extra curiam, or in any other way, and notwithstanding that he holds the said rectory, value not exceeding 8 marks.
