Reservation of the canonry and prebend of Thamon in Ferns, value not exceeding 30 marks, about to become void by the promotion, lately made by the pope, of John, elect of Armagh, to that see, and by his approaching consecration; notwithstanding that he holds the above church and the canonries and prebends of Wildeland in London and Kayre in Llandaff, value altogether not exceeding 100 marks. Mandate to collate and assign to Donald Omongayn, deacon, of the diocese of Cloyne (who has had papal dispensation, as the son of a priest and an unmarried woman, to be promoted to all, even holy orders, and hold a benefice even with cure) the canonry and prebend of Kyll Brogayn in Cork, value not exceeding 6 marks, void by the death of Walter Galle; notwithstanding that the pope has recently granted provision to him of the rectory of Bruchundy in the said diocese, value not exceeding 7 marks. Mandate to collate and assign to John Walche, clerk, of the diocese of Cloyne (who is, he says, in or about his eighteenth year, and has had papal dispensation, as the son of a priest, O.S.A., and an unmarried woman, to be promoted etc. as in the preceding), the canonry and prebend of Vallakayt in Cloyne, value not exceeding 23 marks, void by the resignation, made before John Pellyn, clerk, of the diocese of Cloyne, notary public, and witnesses, of Henry Walche. He has hereby dispensation to hold the said canonry and prebend and any other mutually compatible benefices, of any number and kind, with or without cure, and to resign them as often as he pleases, simply or for exchange. Mandate to collate and assign to Thady Obryn, rector of Mullynmeicduys (sic) in the diocese of Leighlin (who is, he says, of noble birth, and has had papal dispensation, as the son of an unmarried man and an unmarried woman related in the third and fourth degrees of kindred, to be promoted etc. as in the preceding,) the canonry and prebend of Achabull in Leighlin, value not exceeding 6 marks, void by the resignation to bishop Richard of William Yaega; notwithstanding that he holds the said rectory, of the patronage of laymen, value not exceeding 8 marks. He is hereby dispensed to hold the said canonry and prebend, to which, as long as Thady lives and holds them, the pope unites the said rectory. [Nobilitas generis], vite etc. (Antonius. xxx. To the bishop of Ciudad Rodrigo, the abbot of St. Mary's, Monasteranenagh (de Magio), in the diocese of Limerick (Limiricen.), and the chancellor of Ardfert. Mandate to collate and assign to Richard de Muer, priest, of the diocese of Ardfert (who is, he says, of noble birth by both parents and has for five years studied canon and civil law), the canonry and prebend of Belachaha in Cloyne, value not exceeding 20 marks, the patronage of which belongs by papal privilege to Maurice Roche, baron of the barony of Fermoy in the diocese of Cloyne, void by the death of Thomas Onelusayn; notwithstanding that the pope recently [above Reg. Lat. CLXXXVII, f. 254] ordered provision to be made to him of the rectory of Cluherby and the perpetual vicarage of Any in the dioceses of Cloyne and Emly, value altogether not exceeding 15 marks, and dispensed him to hold them together for life.
