Mandate to him—to whom, then a canon of Dublin, priest, Boniface IX on 14 Kal May anno 15 [1404] made provision of the said see, void at the apostolic see and reserved by the resignation made there to the present pope, who received the same by order of pope Boniface, of the late archbishop John, through his proctor the above Nicholas Flemmyng, who was consecrated at the apostolic see by order (de … mandato, cf. f. 62 d.) of pope Boniface, which pope died before the letters of provision were drawn up—to undertake the rule of the said church and exercise its administration. 6 Non. Oct. Viterbo. (f. 135 d.)	To John de Shepeye, dean of Lincoln, D.C.L. Indult, during two years—he being bound by the statutes and his oath at reception to reside thirty-six weeks a year or thereabouts, involving him in heavy expense—to take the fruits etc. of his deanery, which is a major elective dignity with cure, and has a number of parish churches annexed, and of his canonry and prebend of Nassyngton, while residing in the place of Nassyngton in the diocese of Lincoln, which belongs to his said canonry and prebend, or in one of the said annexed churches, provided that he reside in the church of Lincoln one month a year. 1404. 3 Id. Nov. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 148.)	To Richard Ullerston, perpetual vicar of Silkiston in the diocese of York, S.T.P. Decree that the indult granted to him by Boniface IX on 2 Id. Sept. anno 15 [1404]—during ten years, while studying letters at an university or being in the service of his prelate or residing in the Roman court or one of his benefices, to take and to grant to farm or to rent or let, to clerks or laymen, the fruits etc. of his benefices, and not to be bound to reside—shall hold good from the said date, as though the said pope's letters had been drawn up; and that these presents shall be sufficient proof.
