To Francis, cardinal deacon of SS. Cosmas and Damian's. Provision motu proprio of the archdeaconry and canonry and prebend of York, value not exceeding 270 marks, and of the canonry and prebend of Lichfield, value not exceeding 30 marks respectively, which have become void at the apostolic see, and therefore reserved to the pope, by the death there of Francis, cardinal priest of Sancti Quatuor Coronati, who held them by papal grant and dispensation; even if the said archdeaconry be a dignity, even major, have cure and be elective; with dispensation, also motu proprio, to hold the same with his said titular church and his other benefices. Dum exquisitam.
Concurrent mandate to the archbishops of Canterbury and York and the bishop of Volterra. Dum etc. (Pro domino cardinali.)

Provision to Edward, archdeacon of Cornwall in Exeter, doctor of canon law, in priest's orders, of the see of Meath, void by the death of Robert, during whose lifetime it was reserved by the pope. Apostolatus officium.
Concurrent letters to the chapter of Meath, to the clergy and to the people of the city and diocese, and to the vassals of the church—Apostolatus etc.; to the archbishop of Armagh—Ad cumulum tue; and to king Henry—Gracie divine.

Provision to Peter, prior of St. Mary's, Soulac (de Solaco), O.S.B., in the diocese of Bordeaux, in priest's orders, of the abbey of Sainte-Croix (Sancte Crucis), Bordeaux, O.S.B., his election to which, made by the convent on its voidance by the death of Amaneuus—perhaps in ignorance that the pope had reserved it during the lifetime of Amaneuus—is null and void. He has caused to be set forth the matter of the election in consistory before the pope. Inter solicitudines.
