1400. Kal. May. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 9.)	To the archbishop of Taranto and the bishops (sic) of York and London. Mandate motu proprio to collate and assign to Raynald, cardinal deacon of St. Vitus's in Macello, the canonry and prebend of Cathymgham (sic) in Lincoln, value not exceeding 80 marks, still void by reason that John Topp, priest, to whom the pope made provision thereof, has not had the letters made out within the term appointed; with dispensation for the cardinal to hold the same along with a certain other canonry and prebend and archdeaconry in the same church—provision of both of which the pope has ordered to be made to him—as well as with his other benefices. Provision to Cornelius [O'Dea], archdeacon of Killaloe, of the see of Limerick, which became void and reserved to the pope by his translation of Peter [Curragh] to that of Ross. Peter not being content with this translation, the pope restored him, but as he did not have the papal letters of restoration made out within the due time, the see is still void. See Eubel, Hierarchia, p. 482 note], void by the death of bishop Boniface, during whose lifetime it was reserved to the pope. Grant motu proprio that the collation and provision lately made to him by the pope of the canonry and prebend of Rykal in York, value not exceeding 160 marks, on their voidance by the promotion, made by the pope, and the consecration of Henry, bishop of Lincoln, shall hold good from the present date, even though, as is asserted, they are void in some other way.
