1476. Id. July. (15 July.) Amelia. (f. 7r.)	To John, bishop of Worcester. Translation from the church of Rochester to that of Worcester, void at the apostolic see, and therefore reserved to the pope, by the cession to the pope of John, now a bishop in the universal church. Before receiving possession of the rule and administration, he is to take to the bishops of Lincoln and Hereford the usual oath of fealty according to the form enclosed. Credite nobis dispensationis. [In Eubel, from the ‘Obligationes.’]
	Concurrent letters to the chapter, to the clergy and to the people of the city and diocese, and to the vassals of the church of Worcester, Hodie venerabilem fratrem; to Edward, king of England, Gracie divine; and to the archbishop of Canterbury, Ad cumulum. [3⅓ pp.]

15 Kal. Aug. (18 July.) Amelia. (f. 25r.)	To the same. Faculty to be consecrated by any catholic bishop of his choice in communion with the apostolic see, assisted by two or three like bishops. The consecrating bishop is thereupon to receive from him the usual oath of fealty according to the form enclosed, and John is to send it to the pope by his letters patent sealed with his seal (fn. 3); without prejudice to the archbishop of Canterbury, etc. Cum nos pridie [sic]. To Alexander Bothwille, perpetual vicar of Mussilbirigh [recte Mussilburgh] in the diocese of St. Andrews, M.A. Dispensation to receive and retain for life with the said vicarage any one other benefice, or without the said vicarage any two other benefices, with cure or otherwise incompatible, even if dignities, etc. or parish churches, etc., and to resign them, simply or for exchange, as often as he pleases. 7 Id. July. (9 July.) Amelia. (f. 204r.)	To Eustace Bernardi, prior of Ramston, O.S.A., in the diocese of Lincoln. Dispensation to receive and retain for life with the said priory any one other benefice, and if he resign it [the priory] any two other benefices, with and without cure, wont to be governed by secular clerks, even if they be two parish churches, etc., and to resign them, simply or for exchange, as often as he pleases, and hold instead for life one or two other similar benefices with or without cure, wont to be held by such clerks.
