Footnotes

  • 1. On the back of the volume is the usual modern description in Italian:Paolo II. 1466. Anno 2. Lib. P(rimo). The usual numerical note by Mgr. Wenzel is wanting, as also the usual contemporary end-paper and description. The latter occurs, however, on the bottom edge of the volume:Primus de prebendis et de prebendis ac dignitatibus vacantibus anno iio domini nostri domini Pauli pape ii. There are ff. xxiiii.—cccl. of text (many of them blank),+ ff. cccli. and ccclii. blank, the first 23 leaves being missing.
  • 2. The MS. had ‘Stantan’ throughout, and in each case the ‘a’ is cancelled, and an i dashed substituted above it, giving ‘Stantin,’
  • 3. Also written ‘Kylasbuycmellayn.’
