To the abbot of the monastery of Fermoy (de Castro dei) in the diocese of Cloyne (Clonen.), the precentor of Cork, and Rory Macconmara, canon of Cloyne. Mandate (the pope having been informed by Maurice Stantin, (fn. 2) clerk, of the diocese of Cloyne, that Maurice Okyelliri, canon of Cork and precentor of Cloyne, and open fornicator, has dilapidated and converted to his profane and evil uses the goods of the said precentorship and of the prebend of Kylasbuicmellayn (fn. 3) in Cork, and committed perjury, and is defamed in those parts of many other excesses and crimes), if the said Maurice Stantin (to whom the pope has this day ordered provision to be made of a canonry of Cloyne and the prebend of Kahnultayn therein, value not exceeding 10 marks sterling, previously reserved to the pope's gift), will accuse the said Maurice Okyelliri before the above three, to summon the latter and others concerned, and if they find the foregoing to be true, to deprive and remove him, and in that event to collate and assign the said canonry and prebend, value not exceeding 12 marks sterling, and the said precentorship, a non-major dignity, value not exceeding 8 marks sterling, to the said Maurice Stantin.
